Dr Estie Bav is Melbourne based dentist who authored the book ‘ Growing Beautiful Teeth, Simple Strategies for Your Child to Have Perfect Teeth for Life’. In this episode, we chat about her experience in watching children develop and had the first-hand experience when working abroad of how easy health and wellbeing, growth and development of the teeth and jaws can be altered, even in one generation.

We discussed the areas that parents, carers and health professionals should be aware of to ensure that children reach their full potential…and have beautiful teeth! As a practising dentist, Dr Bav sees the longterm effects of poor growth patterns and how they play out in the adult years. By ‘nipping problems in the bud, growth can be nurtured towards better outcomes, and she feels that both parents and professionals need to strive for this.
