Episode 3: Overview of Orofacial Myology. with Pat Pine
Pat Pine is an orofacial myofunctional therapist (orofacial myologist) in the Phoenix area of Arizona. Pat began her career as an RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist) and has stepped on towards a career as an orofacial myologist. She owns and operates her clinic ‘Muscles in Harmony’ at Fountain Hills in the Phoenix valley.
In this episode, the two experienced clinicians, chat about their move into offering a more holistic approach to patient care by investigating and recognising the ‘why’ behind some of the dental and health concerns that they find adversely affects their clients. They discuss how myofunctional therapy can be a valuable addition to the health care team and their desire to have improved muscular function and balance can be established at an early age and provide life long benefits.
